Integrated oil and gas software
TAM connects your applications, spreadsheets included, to one central repository that every department reads from and writes to.
Total Asset Manager (TAM): applications to manage all aspects of upstream oil & gas
Hosted or on-premisePriced by well count, not by userPetroleum engineers on staff
Trusted by oil and gas companies
Total Asset Manager (TAM) puts your drilling, land, production, economics, and accounting data in one place, so every department works from the same numbers.

TAM connects your applications, spreadsheets included, to one central repository that every department reads from and writes to.

Standard reports for state regulations, drop variances, and budget versus actual, plus the SQL Report Builder for writing your own.

Performance dashboards for management, built on any numeric value any query of the system returns.

Gauge sheets and SCADA readings flow into allocations and reports without anyone keying them twice.
Total Asset Manager was built with a data integration engine at its core. That differs from virtually every other oil and gas platform, where integration is attempted as an afterthought with pre-existing modules, often acquired from third-party developers.
Every TAM module is developed with the integration engine at its core, so they all work together. The same engine imports and exports to forecasting software, accounting software, and more with single entries in the database.
Integrating separate oil and gas systems for analytics and reporting is its own project, on top of the license for each system. Total Asset Manager is a single license, and it solves the integration issues.
Already invested in other oil and gas software? TAM's core integration can enhance the system you have, so you add only the applications you lack.
Services
We examine your business processes to find what's slowing your assets down, then build a framework that automates workflows and removes manual steps.
Engineers, business, and IT staff with first-hand experience across oil and gas platforms make sure everything you select works together.
Videos, documentation, webinars, and one-on-one sessions, so your people learn our system and how to run it in your operation.
We can host TAM for you on our secure servers, or install it on your own site. Either way, a staff of IT and engineering experts is at your disposal.
Built to give smaller operators the same technology bigger operators run, backed by our IT staff, licensing, and hardware, at a lower cost to you.
Purchase or lease any combination of products to be installed on your own servers.
Leases include maintenance and version upgrades, and each product may be leased separately.
With an oil and gas data integration engine at its core, TAM offers a full suite of applications that cover the complete life cycle of an oil and gas asset.

See AIPRBeyond the core TAM warehouse, Total Stream builds standalone tools that plug into the same data. Each of these products is available to our customers on request.
Standalone products
Pulls wellbore facts out of your existing reports and keeps a reviewed, always current wellbore diagram, with an optional import into TAM.
A comprehensive land management system for leases, tracts, surface use agreements, and more.
Tracks NDAs, MSAs, and other documents by vendor. Most companies think of it as an MSA tracker, but it does more than that.

Service
We build software for your specific internal needs that works with any of your systems, when you cannot find what you need in a packaged solution.
One example is Basin IQ. We built it for one company to manage all the acquisition and drilling opportunities it was considering, and to run the economics before they landed in Total Asset Manager.
AIPR
Automation, integration, process, and resources are often undermanaged, and that costs oil and gas companies money.
Most operators call it a data problem. It is usually a discipline problem: systems that do not talk, processes nobody owns once the person who built them leaves, and accountability gaps that surface in AFE-to-actual variance three quarters later.
Total Stream brings all of your sources together in one place, and AIPR maps every system and agent action to a process with a responsible role and a human signature.
The AIPR blog series is coming to Wisdom at the Wellhead.
Visit Wisdom at the Wellhead (opens in a new tab)Scripted workflows and AI agents get the right information to the right person, without anyone having to remember to look.
Systems that talk to each other, so the meeting starts from one number instead of arguing about whose is right.
Every process has a responsible role and a human signature, so it survives the next reorg or departure.
People, roles, and the org chart, mapped to the processes they own.
Total Stream builds AI agents, each one scoped to a specific operational job. Each agent monitors what it is told to monitor, acts only within defined limits, and escalates to a person the moment a condition falls outside them.
Beta
Fixes gauge sheet data at the source: it reads through the integration engine, flags through AIPR, and a person signs off.
Beta
Finds the gaps in wellbore records and gives each record a completeness score.
We add each agent here once it is complete.
Acquisitions, SCADA from multiple vendors, accounting that won't talk to the field: we've worked through all three.
Cost is a tiered system based on your well count. Our price will remain unchanged until your company surpasses the well count threshold and enters a new tier. Our cost does not change based on number of users.
Yes. We can provide you with a complete, all-in-one software system, or supplement and integrate with your existing applications from other providers. Total Asset Manager is designed to give you a complete operational overview, so you can access all of your data from a single interface.
Yes, we import historical data wherever possible. The effort to import that data will be directly related to the format and condition of that data. Good data in will equate to good data out.
Yes. Total Stream Systems does not sell SCADA hardware. We tie into most SCADA hardware available and import their transmissions as often as required by the operator.
The gauge sheet and drilling field module can capture information remotely without an internet connection, then submit the daily information to the main system for synchronization once an internet connection is available. The internet is a requirement to access the main system.
Our support is available in multiple ways. It is available to all customers who are in an active lease or rental contract, and to any customers who purchased the product and have a maintenance contract. We provide IT support to all of the clients we host, and occasionally to clients who have installed the product on their own servers. Product support is provided to all customers.
“The team at Total Stream Systems has always executed promptly on the requirements to bridge Total Asset Manager 6.2 and XPOC (Scada System) completing the implementation and custom coding within a month. They have since provided reliable and responsive service to ongoing requests from Treadstone. TSS has been a great value for Treadstone. Being a small operator we could not afford nor support a 'big company' solution, but with TSS we have been able to reduce the amount of time wasted in gathering data to where we have been able to spend more time working on solutions.”
“We have obtained greater utilization in each area, at a fraction of the cost by reducing license costs against a single application environment that is integrated from the start.”
“After talking with Jeff and the team at TSS we determined that they could provide us with a solution that was flexible and efficient to bridge the gap from our automation solution to an engineered solution.”
